Kenwood completes the new 180 Series product line with the introduction and availability of TK-7180/8180 conventional/trunked mobile radios. These new mobiles are companion to the recently introduced 180 Series portables and share a parallel feature set. In the 180 Series mobile, Kenwood presents a host of innovative design elements, including attractive contoured styling and user controls, advanced circuitry to reduce 12V noise, and a front panel speaker that showcases Kenwood’s signature audio performance. The TK-7180/8180 also comes standard with a new compact water resistant hand microphone and a rear mounted DB-25 port for easy connection to external data and remote control devices. A new option includes a remote head kit for convenient mounting and operation within a vehicle or as a base
